Default How to get 880cc injectors to idle smooth

I have been trying to get my 880cc injectors to idle perfect before i tune it. I am using crome. what i have done so far is Unhooked the alternator. used a multimeter to monitor my obd1 ecu pins A25 and A24. I turned on the lights high beams and thing that would draw the battery. As my voltage drop i increased the value for that volt under the battery offset section. I can get it to hold steady idle 14.7 to 15.1 with lights turned on or something pulling power from the battery it idles perfect. But with nothing on the alternator hooked up it will idle choppy going up and down 100rpms and afr from 13.5 to 15.1. My question should i mess with the map or battery offset to correct this.

The battery offset can have an impact yes....it needs to be correct. CromeGold idles cars incredibly well, but pro has much more trouble. The best thing to do in pro, is to take a large group of cells (5x5) in the idle range up to 1000rpm and give them all the same value. Once you adjust the values that it idles stable with an appropriate a/f, subract fuel in small incriments 4 cells wide as you move up each row. This is the way I've found can idle pro the most stable. For example

44 44 44 44 44
48 48 48 48 48
52 52 52 52 52
55 55 55 55 55
59 59 59 59 59

It just seems that pro has an easier time with this setup. Gold requires little to get idle stable though. I've idled 1000's easily and there's no quirks whatsoever regardless of lighting or electrical load.

this worked i also had to set the timing all the same in these cells will that hurt any thing

No, the physical load on the motor parts at idle is virtually zero. At the very worst, it uses a little more air & fuel than perfect values will - but that's nothing compaired to the air & fuel used at WOT.
