I swapped my stock cluster for the the ex cluster with Tach. After hooking everything back up my background lights will not turn on. I checked the fuses (fine) and all correct light bulbs are in.

What next?

Check the dimmer switch.

Pull out your trusty multimeter.

Remove the dimmer switch and uncouple the connector. With the combination switch turned to parking lights, do you measure 12 V on the red wire to body ground? Does the black wire have continuity to ground?

Also, is fuse 19 under the dash blown? Does fuse 19 have battery voltage?

 

Stupid question but what kind of radio is in it? When my car didnt have a radio in it the cluster didnt light up.
