Default f22b1 turbo questions

i'm kinda new to honda's.also, i know about turbos and cars alot, i use to be a mechanic but i'm a welder now (money is better lol) I'm more of a v8 muscle car, GM, and toyota guy but i'm getting me a f22b1 vtec engine in a few days and i'm going to rebuild it with forged rotating assembly, and some good sleeves with stock compression cause it makes a good 8.8:1 ( i read) compression which is good for a turbo. i just don't know what kind of turbo components to get for this engine. i don't know what kind of intake or exhaust manifold to get and what kind of injectors would be good, and i need to replace the valves in the head, so what would be a good company to get timing components for the engine from. I would like pretty good numbers in hp. its not going to be an everyday vehicle, i'm building me a truck that is rwd and rear engine. so i will be driving it maybe 2 or 3 times a week at the most, and maybe to shows now and then. so atleast 300 hp but would like a 400 to 500 range. also, what transmission would be good? i would like a manual cable operated. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I'm sure Spiker will chime in, he knows ALOT about boosting an F. I think the F23 intake manifold bolts up? which flows better. Might still need it ported, but I don't think there are any companies that make a replacement (i.e. Skunk2, Golden Eagle). As far as the turbo mani goes, I think there are some guys in the Vendor section that make them. I think the stock block can hold up to 12 psi? Spike made I think 300+ on stock block? F or H tranny bolt up, F is geared lower and H revs higher. Both are cable operated I believe. Just about anyone should have valves or pistons as the F is being recognized more. Bisi makes a lot of stuff for the F, check him out.

what would be better to do a build up of a f22b1 or a d15? which can make better hp and torque? and which have more accessable parts? i have an option of buying a f22b1 or a d15 (this is a short block, head, and a tranny while the f is a complete engine) both need rebuilding which i was going to do anyways

Maybe I missed something....
But a D15 will do you NO good in an ACCORD.

The D15, though it has been highly modified to make impressive numbers is not a high performing motor at all. Whether Stock, lightly modified or extremely modified and boosted...the F22b1 has way more potential and is a better motor than the D15. The D15 produces way too little torque and horsepower for the Accord.

where to start?

Phearable.net has alot you will need. ECU, Hondata, RC injectors, etc.
I'm pretty sure Ferrea makes valves that are good but not cheap.

As far as the turbo goes, I would reccomend get good components to begin with, Tial wastegate, good clamps. I would check out the forced induction forum, i'm sure there is plenty on info in there.

Any H series trans. will bolt up to a f series 0excluding the prelude SH trans.) I'm going to be using a M2S4 out of a Prelude SI. The H22 tranny is really short geared.

Bisimoto has alot of parts for the Fseries.
