car is a 2000 ek civic came stock with a d15 automatic.

put in a itr motor, using a 99 jdm sir civic harness and itr ecu.

The ecu original engine harness had plugs C & D on it and plug A was on the dash harness.

the new harness has all of them on it..

with the key ON the fuel pump isnt priming, and the check engine light, abs and srs arent coming on in the cluster.

First question, what country are you in, and two what country was the civic originally purchased in. Secondly, JDM civics use a RHD harness uncompatible with the a LHD chassis unless you feel like spending hours doing completely unneccessary work. Also 6th gen JDM civics (except CTR) remained OBD2A through the entire production run (OBD2A civic enigne harnesses are incompatible with OBD2B civic chassis and vice versa)

you may be able to use the stock civic harness and just merge it with the itr engine harness. Thats pretty much what I did. I spent a day extending wires for plugs and omitting some too. I did a write up on this 3 years ago here but I did it under my brother's login, can't remember what it is Using the JDM ecu you can cut the crank sensor out, you will have to swap out plugs and extend the majority of it. I spent a day doing this using the civic manual and integra manual just to make sure I was doing it all right.

Sorry its a jdm car. obd2a car, harness and motor.

I got the engine part hooked up fine, its just getting the cluster and stuff to work.

Im wondering what wires of the dash harness need to connect with the ecu.

The plot thickens...

Ok, heres whats weird, on OBD2B civics the "A" plug is part of the underdash harness, whats weird is that by and large 6th gen JDM Civics are supposed to be OBD2A all the way through. It sounds to me like the car is OBD2B, which will cause these sort of issues when using an OBD2A harness. Observe the pic below (credited to Katman @ ff-squad)

i guess I can't help you there. my swap was to a 98 ek obd2a and i swapped a 97 b18c itr engine. the jdm ecu plugged right into the stock harness beneath the dash and my sir cluster works perfect.

I don't think you have to add anything if you use the jdm ecu. I cut out several plugs that weren't needed. For example I cut out one of the o2 sensors, crank sensor, etc..

If the ecu is obd1 you'll have to jump the plug above the ecu.
