JDM EG4 Civic SiR 1993 B16 with Integra S1 cable box swap, from automatic.

Mods to Engine.

Skunk2 Titanium Valve springs.
Slight...port and polish.
Ferrea Valves.
JE 9.1 forged pistons.
Eagles Forged Rods.
ARP hardware.
RC 370cc Injectors
MSD Coil and Distr. Cap.
Type R Oil pump.
New SiR Water Pump.
Fuidyne Radiator with High flowing Fan.
Underdrive pully and power steering pulley.
Block Guard and Cometic gasket.

......and yes.. emanage blue...=o. In my defense I bought the Emanage long before I decided to go turbo.

This project has been two years in the making...My tuner had a go at the tuning a few nights ago...his conclusion was to change the ole..blue box. He promptly stopped tuning after a few goes ...

He is recommending the Apexi Power FC unit. I don't know much about it, be he seems to really like it, and he has experience with it. Now, since money is always an issue, I was looking at the Chrome Tuning software. I know I will need to buy the ROM burning kits etc. Frankly I think that's a bit of a hassle.

Do you guys know about the Power FC?, is it good for my application?, or should I ask him to have a look at the Chrome system?

I search and found nothing on the Power FC....

 

if you don't want to burn the rom after every change to the chip, i recommend going with the hondata s300 or similar to where all you need is a usb to upload maps. I believe Chrome requires burning on all their boards, so s300 might be the best way. You can get one from mtber here for 800 with a new ecu (600 just for the s300)
