got a code 22 the other day. it comes in and out. checked the cable and the connection seemed fine. how do i check if its the switch? If it is bad, how much can i get another one for?

any help apprieciated... the car runs like crap when theres no Vtec.

check your oil level or un bolt teh oil pressure switch and check for obstructions its only 3 bolts.

 

how can i check if the unit is bad? are there any signs other than the code 22?

 

make sure that the switch is grounded. i had the same problem
