To mini me or not to mini me???
I know theres alot of threads about it but... i just did an auto to manual conversion for close to nothing on my 94 dx and i put in the ex tranny and i like it but want more power.. people keep saying just do a bseries swap but i juuuust put the tranny in so its kinda pointless so should i do the mini me or just tough it out and get the b
Try the mini me out. It's a minor increase but I'd say that's the next step if you're not willing to go b-series or forced induction. For the cost of the parts you need, it may be the best bang for your budget minded buck. Keep in mind this is much easier than an entire motor swap but there are still some specific things you need to know to make it an easy swap.
Try searching on google or on youtube for info on how to do it correctly and maybe check out some videos to see if the power levels appeal to you.

well forced induction was suppose to be step 3.. im lookin to run the mini me on about 6psi (d.d) .. not too hard. my bestfriend's mini me beats ls' like notthing and all he has is bolt ons and its tuned so im guessing they can be quick little *****..
Why not just use the money you were going to spend on the mini me and spend it on some forged internals and run more than 6 psi. You'll make more power and why bother having vtec if your boosting anyways?
