I use simple green and let in sit for a while to get a lot of the grime off and I use like an armor all for the plastics and hoses. And I use a little paint brush to brush off anything that is hard to get to.

tooth brush and alot of "purple stuff" and then do it all over again try cleaning up all the tangled wires(and/or hide them) and get some wet and shine for the hoses!! thats what i do and i have won 1st place the last 3 shows around here!!
