What to use to clean engine bay?
Anyone knows any good products to scrub the black stuff off? It’s hard to scrub off so what’s a good thing to scrub it off with also? A sponge? Thanks.

I know a chp officer who used to detail cars back in the day and he told me that his dad tought him to use a 50-50 mixture of half Tide liquid laundry soap and half water and you slightly tilt it up and down to mix it causing no bubbles and it works the best, will clean Up really nice...put it in a spray bottle and hit it up

I just did my bay and the best thing would be to use a degreaser of some kind and a steam cleaner - it supposedly makes the gunk melt off. I didn't want to spend $100+ on a steam cleaner, so I just used elbow grease.
@K7-1Ktrevor put me onto the Dollar Tree carpet cleaner - $1 per bottle, and works great as a degreaser. With a bottle of that, a bunch of rags, and some q-tips to get in the tight spaces, I got my bay clean in about 8 hours, with the engine pulled out.
