okay I bought a ek hatch and Idk what kind of cluster it has I think its a dx cluster but might be ex idk any ways the speedo on the cluster does not work and I want to know why? theres a little red/black cable loose back there which i did take a pic of please help?

You could check a wire diagram to make sure that wire does not belong anywhere. Does it come out of the main harness?

 

its the same as an ex cluster, not sure what that wire is for though, def look at wiring diagram, my guess is it came out of the main blue plug on top

 

is it tied in a knot to something? look on the back of the plugs and see if you see a pin in there without a wire in it. other than that a helms will help you out.

 

ya im going to check if there is a knot where could i find a wiring diagram? because I dont know what that loose wire is and im sure its something important but I dont know.
