Car not turning over
I noticed when I pressed in the clutch turn ignition to start my car won't turnover.so I checked all connections, battery everything seem to be good.so I'm thinking it could be the alarm so what I did was disconnect the brain so that the starter kill will be disable but that wasn't the problem. So I'm thinking its the clutch switch so what I do is I pulled out the harmess from switch and jumped it (same was how you pull codes for ecl) still yet car won't crank. So what I do next is check all fuses (there all good) so by now I'm irritated trying to figure it out. Next thing pop in my head try jumping the starter (pulled terinal off starter and taped a wire from starter to the positive on the battery with key on. Now it STARTS***. So now I know that the starter is good. Could my ignition switch be bad? If I can't figure out the problem tomorrow morning I will just run a push start button.
Any sugestions? Can someone help me out? thanks

Have you used a voltmeter to test whether you have battery voltage at the Blu/Blk wire of the connector attached to the clutch pedal starter switch when the key is turned to ON(III)?
I had a similar problem about a month ago. A few points:
1. Check battery connections again. Clean both the battery terminals, and the wires. My problem ended up being just corrosion on the positive starter wire where it was clamped in the terminal block. If this is the problem, consider buying a terminal block with rubber grommets.
2. Check your grounds. I've heard of just a dirty transmission ground causing this.
3. Try taking the starter out (not very difficult), and jump start it. Make sure it's actually spinning. -edit- Check the coil, see if you can find any traces of burnage.
4. Try changing your main relay. It should be on the right hand side behind your glovebox. Even if you hear the contacts clicking, the contact surface itself can be burnt or damaged from the years of use. I got one from a parts store for $30
5. Big pain in the *** to fix, check your ignition switch.

i don't have a voltmeter but i checked the 7.5 starter signal fuse and it's fine. one thing i left out was that recently, my car has been making a non stop clicking sound by the fuse box. even with the car off and if i move the steering wheel, it clicks. i'm guessing my main relay is gone bad? would that be the cause of my car not starting when i turn on the ignition?
