I just replaced my cv boots a few months ago and I one of the bands of the outer cv boot popped off. I don't think all the grease has worked its way out, but I'd still like to replace what's missing.

Where can I source this stuff? When I initially bought the boots from Acura they came with the yellow grease, but this time I don't need the boot.

 

Honda sells just the yellow grease. dont remember the number off hand, but if i remember tomorrow ill find out and post it up.

 

outer grease is 08798-9007

inner grease is 08798-9003

 

this happened to me also, i need to buy a new band. Its ziptied right now and i dont know how well thats holdin up lol.
