Barametric Pressure Need help !!!!!
my ecu is throwing two codes it just started doing this ever since i put the motor in this car it didn't do it when it was in my other car but it now has a code 7 which is tps sensor and 13 which is barametric pressure but i never heard of it and if anyone knows how to clear this code please let me know because the car sometimes just shuts off on the highway while driving normal..
This link talks about the baro sensor and what it's for... http://www.hondatech.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=102 , but honestly, I'm not sure where it is or how to test it. To lazy to dig out the manual.
No experience with the baro pressure problem, but most likely your ecu is fine. There's a separate code, 1 i think, if the ecu is bad. If you have access to a free ecu to try, than sure give it a go, but chances are you just have a tps and barometric pressure problem, whatever baro is.
damn this sux cause im selling the car tomorrow and i don't want any cel coded to be on but hoplefully someone can tell me how to fix it or if it's even fixable thanks bro

barometric pressure is a MAP sensor issue. Hondas don't have a seperate baro sensor. It might be that the MAP is reading too high or low or something.
Did you switch the TPS and MAP sensor plugs while doing the swap? They're right next to each other and are the same shape. Check wire colors to make sure they're going to the right places.

i didn't change the plugs cause it's a DA and the map sensor is on the firewall and not on the trottle body..but ill change the map today to see what it does
Well your gonna wanna test the MAP sensor to see if its bad
youll need a multi meter, When there Is low Pressure in the manifold 5(Hg) there would be 2.4-2.5 volts at the sensor, the higher the Pressure in the manifold the lower the volts get .05 -.06 volts being the lowest at around WOT
