Default b20z swap help

alright so i did my swap a few months ago and im still trying to get it running right
so its a b20z2 with ls trany its only throwing one code 1 flash i believe is o2 sensor so i changed the o2 and reset the ecu, code still comes up after driving..
the car runs fine but around 5k rpm it just like stops pulling, and when im WOT for awhile thats when the cel comes on.
im thinking about going obd1 but i dont want to do all that and it still ends up running wack
but it might be what it needs being that it is an obd2 motor?? thanks for the help

I bought a PR4 ecu and a OBDI ecu adaptor harness and my B20Z works great

if your'e running an aftermarket header chances are your 02 sensor is too far back. obd0 02 sensors should be 8-10 inches down from the head since they are not heated

thats your problem right there. The newer style exhaust manifold have the o2 sensor further back to get a good reading, but.....its the newer 4 wires heater sensor tht is used on all the newer obdI and II systems that use this.

If you are running OBDO still, it uses a single wire, non heated o2 sensor which is located way up close to the engine cylinder head where the exhaust is hotter so the sensor gets a proper reading.

OBDI is better though, my car uses a 1993 OBDI PR4 ecu

you think that could be why my car lags around higher rpm?
