Default UBERDATA question..

I just chipped my ecu.. and used the stockLS.bin file... I am using an OBD-1 P75 ecu, which only has one o2 sensor... I understand that some P75 ecu's are made for 2 o2 sensors.. Well, I am getting, 4 slow flashes and one quick flash, which i believe is code 41.. ?? which is somethin about the O2 sensor... HOw can I get rid of this code?? are all StockLS.bin files made for the LS motor with 2 o2 sensors..?

thanks,

Mark

No, it is OBD1 based code, so that equals 1 O2 IIRC. There is something else going on if you are getting an O2 code. What chassis is your car & what type of O2 are you running?

I am using a 1994 LS motor w/ a P75 ecu, on a 1990 Civic hatchback converted to OBD-1... Just the ECU without the chip, I do not get any CEL's, but for some reason, with the STOCK LS bin file, I get a check engine code.. then, when I try to make a turbo basemap, it gives me a solid CEL... I do not get it.. please help me!

What version of Uberdata are you using? I have been using 1.66 for a while w/ no problems. E-mail your .bin to me and I'll take a look at it. You may be making a mistake while making your "basemap".

Also, what options did you check/un-check? the problem may lie there.....

well, I am fully converted to obd-1.. using a 93 LS motor, p75 ecu, and the 4 wire o2 sensor... My car ran fine without any Check engine Light codes, but when I chipped it with uberdata, even with the STOCKLS.bin, it gives me 4 solid flashes and one quick one.. which i believe is code 41.. somethin to do with the o2 sensor.. well, here are the .bin files that i've tried... the stockls.bin from the uberdata 1.7 beta, and the one i've modified for boost.. maybe you can please e-mail me a .bin file to try.. I'm usin dsm 450cc injectors, 8.5psi boost w/ a IHI ball bearing t 28 turbo.. i want to run 9 or 10 psi w/ uberdata, because it would be more reliable than the AFC hack i'm running right now, cuz then my timing and fuel will be more precise.. right??? OH ya, when I tried the LSturbo one, since it's programmed for 450cc injectors already, I disconnected my safc.. but for some reason, i got a solid CEL... makes me confused.. is 1.7 beta not a good program.?

thanks for taking the time to help..

1) Your 4-wire is wired wrong, giving you an O2 heater circuit code.

2) When you disconnected the AFC, you disconnected MAP sensor signal to the ECU. Off the top of my head, sticking a jumper between the yellow and the white wires of the AFC plug will put your wiring back to "stock" and your turbo basemap should run.

1.7 is worthless... 1.70 kicks ***! They are two different versions...
