Default clutch problem???

I just put my car back together. It has a competition clutch stage 3 clutch with fidanza 7.5 lbs flywheel. The motor is freshly rebuilt as well. I was driving normally trying to get the clutch broken in. I was in 5th gear going about 55 when the car just stops moving. The car stays in gear and the engine is still on. When I hit the gas and the car is still in gear the car goes nowhere. I pulled over and I checked the shift linkage and it was still on. I noticed I was leaking something. I couldn’t tell if it was from the transmission or the axle. When the car was off for a while I got back in the car and tried again. I put the car in first and it started moving. But when I shifted to second, it went in and the clutch was out but it didn’t go anywhere. What could it be?

Check your clutch MC and slave cylinders. Could also be a problem with the TO bearing or release fork. Those release forks are a PITA to get back on properly. Are you sure you got it on there correctly?

maybe not, i guess i have to take it back down and check, i mean everything was fine for 77 miles. clutch master and slave cylinders are brand new, the slave cylinder goes in and out i can feel it, and the master cylinder isnt leaking at all. im going to take it down today and see whats going on.

I don't think it's your clutch. My first question is is it an LS or GS transmission. If so with what your desribing it sounds like the same problem I had with my B series. The change assembly in your transmission is either worn out or broken. It's a $120 part and it's easy to replace in the tranny if your comfortable with getting inside the box. The LS/GS change assembly's are known to be really weak/ fragile. I'll include some images of the layout and my own broken assembly. The part is labeled #4 on the diagram. The part# 24400-P21-020. Hope this helps
