Bleeding the clutch?

Icon3 Bleeding the clutch?

i got a 91 honda prelude 2.0si
it feels like theres alot of air in my clutch line
is there anyway i could bleed the clutch?

i have 1 more problem, my car burns about 2 qts. of oil a WEEK..
i checked the pcv valve and it seems to be good, but i seriously need some help with this prob to, it leaks really dark oil, it looks burnt

oil burning could be your valve stems

I would figure a 91 would have a cable tranny? well there is a bleeder valve on the slave cylinder on the tranny that you can loosen after depressing and holding the clutch pedal down and then retighten the bleeder and pull the clutch pedal back up; repeat as necessary

so basically it would have to be bled from the slave?

it has to be bled by the slave

and thats not the proper way to bleed the line

attach hose from slave nipple into a bottle with some brake fluid in it..
make sure the hose is submerged into the fluid in the bottle

loosen bleeder valve on slave
pump clutch pedal a few times making sure not to empty the clutch master reservoir
refill reservoir as needed

on the last pump..leave the pedal down...then tighten the bleeder valve
pull back the pedal and make sure you have enough fluid in the res
