car ran one day, next day wont run at ALL!
alright, from my previous topic of the pr4 crap, i thought hey maybe the intake manifold was a little toooo big, so i put the stock on one, and fired right up still wont rev past 4k(b18a1, fully built)... anyways... the next day comes along, and wanted to go take the car out for pictures, and what do you know, the bastard wont start... got 2 sets of new plugs, got new wires, got a new ecu, checked over my WHOLE ENTIRE HARNESS, and got a new distributor (its all obd0)
what coulda made this do this? im thinking timing, but due to i have the adjustable cam gears, i tried adjusting them both ways (equiv to about 2 teeth both ways) and adjusting the dizzy
im getting fuel (pulled the rail off, and tried starting the car with the injectors in, and they sprayed..... ALOT, lol... im getting spark, and getting air... wtf could of happened?
little more info: 4 3 2 1 (cylinders) cylinder 4 you can hear firing, and that pipe of the exhaust getting warm, and no other cylinder, and yes i have the wires on correctly
please help anyone, im sooooo despret, i have 3800 dollars invested into this fully built b18, and it wont even run anymore, i have a whopping 95 miles on it... didnt even get the 100 mile mark break in

This may seem very simple, but try your fuses. I had a similar issue with an old pontiac of mine, it turned out that i blew a fusible link. Maybe check to see if you need a new crank position sensor.
yes it turns over... my cylinders 3 2 1 wont fire correctly... they r getting fuel and spark, just wont fire for sum reason...does 91 octane go bad quickly or something?!
how old is the gas? it shouldn't go bad unless its like a year old.
it sounds like you should have a CEL code to check (with the 4K rev limit), so check that out.
Also have you done a compression test?

alright well i bought a compression tester heres the results...
1 = 10psi
2 = 70psi
3 = 60psi
4 = 90ps
with cyl 1 i put oil and let it sit in there for a few minutes... then cranked the motor a few times... checked compression again... jumped to 120... tried startin it with the spark plugs and you hear a huge puff from it tryin to start... then started to make the low compression sound again, and went down to 30...
the rings and pistons r brand new and did not check the clearance on them when i put them in... any way i could easially fix this with out takin the block apart...

i bought engine compression restore crap, mixed it with another compression restorer, and just put the mix into the pistons to let them sit for a while, im hopin maybe its jammed or something, and this free's the rings..
i know a guy who took a siezed motor from like a 60 bel air, put automatic tranny fluid and diesel fluid mixture , let it sit over night and it fired up the next day... i mean if thats possible there has to be a way to fix the compression with out takin the block apart

making a seized motor turn over is quite a feat but its not the exact same issue you're dealing with. fixing this with additives is not a sure thing but you might get lucky. did you do the work or a shop?
