Default JDM H22A, No VTEC Pressure Switch?

Today I finally decided to wire the vtec on my jdm h22a that I recently had swapped in, well I noticed something unusual.. there was no vtec pressure switch in sight on the vtec selonoid

In the picture above, my solenoid doesn't have the green plug (vtec pressure switch). So when wiring everything to my ECU what am I going to have to do to get everything working? I have the solenoid properly wired to the ECU but this is the last thing I have to do.

There's the green connector in the pic above. It's right next to the vtec solenoid.

Here's the pic #19

Yeah, JDM setups don't have it.

Figures, How would I go about wiring the ECU correctly so that I don't throw the CEL 22 (VTEC Pressure Switch)?

If you're using an unmodified US ECU I think you'll just need to use a US VTEC solenoid.

If you're using a JDM ECU, it won't care.

If you're using one of them hacked OBD1 Civic/Integra ECUs that everyone loves you can just tell it to not care.

If you're using a fully aftermarket standalone you shouldn't be asking these questions! :p

I am using the JDM ECU. So all I would need to do is wire up the vtec solenoid and from there it's play?

I am not sure if I have vtec because my VSS is also showing up in my cel's so I don't think vtec will engage without it. I plan to fix the sensor tomorrow (believe it's a loose connection, just replaced the sensor with a brand new one). I am just worried about the cel at most. Any way to get rid of it?

IIRC JDM OBDI H22A's will have the switch, while JDM OBDII H22A's will not.

My JDM OBDII H22A did not have the vtec pressure switch. I used the JDM ecu that came with and did not run a ware for the pressure switch (as the switch is not present). Motor runs fine and no CEL (did have one when I first fired it up but it was the vtec solenoid connector that was not plugged all the way in). My bad.

Wierd, I have a ODB1 JDM H22A without a vtec pressure switch.

So with the JDM P13 and a ODBI JDM H22A engine without an vtec pressure switch and vtec wired properly will not throw a CEL 21?

I'll check the A4 connector when the rain stops over here but I am sure it is plugged in all the way. The car definitely ran smoother when I wired the vtec solenoid up but still hesitated a bit because I am guessing the VSS wasn't plugged in all the way so the car couldn't hit vtec.

There could be the possibility that I got it backwards.
