2.5 inch piping...capable of 300whp+?
thank you..any more inputs or first hand experience...Im keeping this for a while. Then ill be upgrading turbo setup, intake mani, and exhaust piping later on.

For 300-400whp 2.25 is ok. 3 inch would be OVERKILL.

But for the original poster.. i have made as much as 460 through 2.5" ehxaust. Although it will definitely make more power with a larger one on it at that power level, you can get away with it.
So if you read his original post he is asking about exhaust and you point him in the direction of an intercooler piping thread. Unless I am missing something here.. it is kind of late.

yea but for us single cam guys you need all you can get. i have a 2.5in exhaust right now but am very hesitant about using it on my built motor as well just because more power is more power. if you have your 2.5in on right now and cant afford 3in that is fine but if you are going to upgrade to either 2.5 or 3in deffinitely get the 3in.

I was just about to give your car as an example, John.
Bigger is nicer to work with and make power with, but the job can still get done on 2.5".
