My b16 engine is acting up. when ever i start the car the idle is really rough. sort of like the sound of a muscle car. also when i revv it a little bit the engine automatically dies on me.??? What could be the problem?

are all your spark plugs good the way you say it sound like a muscle car makes me think that one of the cylinders may not be firing. If you have a header it is really obvious if one cylinder isn't firing just start the car and if one if the pipes doesn't get hot within 20 seconds that cylinder isn't firing. That is just my first though it could be a number of things
