Engine build questions...b16 block...gsr head.
Hey guys i came upon a deal a week ago for some crower rods and a sleeved b16 block.
Well i had a full gsr swap in my crx. I already sold the shortblock...but i still have the head and i was curious of what parts would be affected by me running a b18c1 head on a b16a2 block
Can i use the gsr dizzy....ecu....blah blah blah......
And with the b16 bottom end do i order all b16 stuff when it comes to water pump, oil pump, head studs, etc..... and i believe the timing belt needs to be a b16a2 timing belt but i need a for sure on that......
well thanks guys and any input would be awesome.

If you do i would use p30 pistons and b16 arp studs, i just built and sold a built b16a w/p30's and built gsr head to AMG he should be breaking in the motor soon as i get him his ecu with a base map burned for the setup it should be a great combo.

what kind of bump in compression should happen by putting a gsr head on a b16 block rather then putting a b16 head on a b16 block.
i think your wrong. why do you get a higher compresion motor when u put a gsr head on an ls block then when u put a b16 head on an ls block if thats true?
