I was wondering if i could fit my gsr head on my b16 block and what i would need to do it.

 

why not a gsr block with a B16 head?

 

Gsr head on a b16 head??? ok... its possible.. all you will need it B16 head gasket, b16 or gsr head bolts... if your using a GSR water pump you use a gsr timing belt if your using a B16 water pump you will use a b16 timing belt.. Your headers from a gsr or a b16 will fit.. good luck

yeh its well more then possible. i use to run a JDM B16 bottom end with a Fully built JG engine dynamics head N/A. it pushed out some mean power. with the s2s2 cams, i pushed 184hp to the wheels. but if u wanna just boost it. B16 can handle alot of torture. boost it to the max.

 

all b-series vtec head gaskets are the same.
you can use your b16 head bolts because you are using a B16 block.
b16 water pump because gsr water pump wont fit.
Also use a b16 timing belt.
I have the same set up in my 95 gsr
Stock block with pr3 piston. your compression ratio will be 10.4:1 compare with the b16a head 10.2:1

 

i gotta disagree with that ALL B-series head gaskets are the same.. theres some slight diff... but if your saying it will fit yeah they will all fit...
