is there any possible way to put the F20C onto any honda or acura transmission? i think it would be an awesome and extremely different setup having a F20C motor and making it front wheel drive. any help from anyone?

 

also, i was curious if anyone has heard of anything like that being done before

 

There were one or 2 companies out there that were supposed to come out with an adapter plate for the K-series transmissions. I never heard anything about anything ever coming out though. So either the idea failed, it's still in R&D, or they figured it was too expensive.

 

To be "different" may not be worth it in this case. You clearly have a lot of money, you may as well get a K20 swap.

 

where can i get info to do a JDM K20a swap? and what companies were possibly going to put out the adapter plate you were talking about?

Make it RWD, someone did a k20 in the trunk of a del sol. You should try it with this.

 

i would do a RWD but thats ALOT of work and plus thats kinda getting into structual things and i'm not trying to destroy a car

Guy here in NZ put a F20C into a delsol using Rover FWD gearbox - used it for rallying. if you google "dave strongs F20c delsol" it should have some info
