Default HELP! resistor box wiring problem.

so i did this as shown in the picture, and now the car wont fire. fuel pump is brand new and it primes (walbro 255)

anyways incase u cant read my beautiful art work ill explain it

the 4 yellow/black wires on injectors, i spliced them into the 4 black wires on the resistor box. then the yellow/black wire thats all the way on the top left that goes to ECU i spliced the red wire from the resistor box into.

NOTE: i did not disconnect any wires nor did u remove that plug from the connector where all the yellow/black wires are..

heres the pic!

also I just read somewhere that the "power block" where the 8 yellow/black wires come toghter the little "end plug" that grounds them needs to be taken out???? is that why mine wont fire up, cuz the plug is still in there?

You need to feed the corresponding ground wires on the injector clips to the ECU. You have it half done so far.

I am assuming you are using an OBD1 ECU here.....please correct me if I'm wrong.

Injector #1 ground wire = Brown wire to ECU Pin A1
Injector #2 ground wire = Red wire to ECU Pin A3
Injector #3 ground wire = Light Blue wire to ECU Pin A5
Injector #4 ground wire = Yellow wire to ECU Pin A2

can you break that up in noob language im sorta lost, cuz from the pic and what your saying (compared to the directions i was looking at is diffrent)

and idk if im wrong but by lookin at so many diffrent diagrams and everything its starting to seem like theres diffrent ways of wiring this up?

No, The black wires from resistor go to the black and yellow wires on the injector...just as you have them in your diagram. These are the power wires, not ground wires.

Now my question to you is were do you have the second wires that come off the injector clips going? You have them colourd grey in your drawing and they go nowhere.

The revised drawing that I posted shows the numbered injectors, coloured wires and where they should be going to on the ECU.

OH no their already in the harness. the injectors were all wired up already i just spliced in the resistor box. but damn good reply tho i see what you are talking about now your pretty good knowing all this

anyways i found my problem why it wasnt firing

the "input wire" the yellow/black one that goes to ECU wasnt pushed in all the way into the connector. Well it fired up now, but how do i know that the resistor box is "resisting" them lol

check the resistance with an ohm meter.

Pardon the thread robbing, but I need help bad. So you are saying the 4 extra wires that don't run to the inkectors need to be disconnected from the dead end plug and the one that runs to the ECU should be soldered to the red wire?
