did you check the idle positoning screw? also vacum leak? also is your throttle cable shorter than the stock one? that may cause ti to be pulling the throttle body open

because. i believe the type r has better throttle response. this amy be caused by a shorter cable am i correct? cus the less slack the more chance that the throttle cable is shorter causing the throttle to be pulled open to a ammount causing the idle to jump up

so do i just have to play with the cable slack and adjust it while the car is running to find the proper idle?

first check the idle positioning screw than check to see if you have a vacum leak and thant he throttle cable. take the easiest one being teh screw and work from there

i played with the throttle pos screw and it made the car idle at 1500prm but if you touch the pedal or move the throttle pulley it revs up to 2000 then very harsh bursts from 1500 to 2000 rpm and just keeps doing that

yes it is a spiratic idle from 1500 to 2000 but it only does that after you touch the gas pedal other wise it just sits at 1500
