Default High idle problem

I got a 65mm RPM service TB and a skunk2 manifold put on my car the other day and now the car idles at like 2000-3000 but if I tap the idle 1 or 2 times the car will idle back down to normal. I also put a type r cai intake, type r throttle cable, and type r throttle cable bracket on the car to. I adjusted the tension in the cable it's fine and the butterfly closes all the way. It's weird some time i stop it idles at 1500(hot or cold) other the next stop ligth it idles at 3000(hot or cold). But if I give the car a good rev it will idle down to normal.

Are you using a matching throttle body gasket for that 65mm one?

Ihave the same promblem on my car. I put a 70mm holley throttle body on my skunk 2 intake manifold and it started messing up so i took it off and put my stock TB back on and it does that to but i still have the sock GS-R cable on the sockTB and i think my TB is sticking. I dont know what is wrong.

you may have to readjust the idle screw, and double check your IAC that it was properly reinstalled.

I have checked for vacum leaks, the gasket was trimed to fit, and yes if I give the engine a good rev the car will idle like normal. I have also checked the cable it doesn't stick. I have adjusted the idle screw it is perfect
