YEsterday morning i got in my car to start it. it turned over once and then when i went to turn the key again it went completely dead! i tried jump starting it last night and i got no power at all!!! can someone please help me!

 

it could be that the ignition coil or ignition control module has gone bad inside of the distributor.

Chances are that either one OR both could be your problem. Borrow one from a friend to test on yours b4 you go out to buy one. I had this issue with my DC in the past. BUT first check for spark b4 you do anything else!

 

^Well, it is poitless to check the plugs if he has no power.
Pull out your volt meter and trace the 12Volts starting from the battery.

i took my battery to get check out at autozone and it text 99% charged! now what should i do next??

 

Also check the main underhood fuse, but it is probably one of the above connections. If you aren't getting any power to your accessories either, it is the underhood fuse or connection at the battery. Was there alot of corrosion on the terminals?

 

There is no corrosion on the terminals.

 

re-check your connections, check if the ground is grounded 100% on the body

i had my ground fall off and i overlooked it, cuz i was just looking at the connections on the battery terminals..

 

sweet! so messed around with the ground wires and put my battery back in and it started! w00t w00t! thanks to all! one quick question are my wires suppose copper or are they suppose to be rusted a bit?

 

im havin the same problems with my car.car just died and no power.new batt and still nothing.changed fusebox,main relay and still nothing.

 

Does it crank or not?

 

IT'S THE TIMING BELT. maybe. that happened to my cousin's prelude. he changed everything that could be the problem, then he found out the timing belt was broken.
