ok, i own a 98 Honda Civic EX and I have put tons of work into it. Recently, i had problems with my car not starting and we took off the valve cover and almost did a valve job.. but then they just did something with the valves and it started.. so really it was just flooded and did not dry up over time.

Now, ever since then, my car has been acting up. Happened about a month after that whole project. Ill be driving down the highway, and my car will stutter, like it was running out of gas or something.. and the RPM meter would jump like 200 up and down and the stutter was short.

Now, its gotten worst and actually started to stall. There is a new timing belt, its on time, new cap, roter, plugs, and wires. One of my valves has bad compression but would that cause this? My fuel pump is working so you can pretty much dismiss all that.

Any ideas why my car would be stalling, stuttering when i accelerate?
