Trouble Code P1298 STILL Need HELP
Hye guys i started throwing p1298 in my ej8 a few weeks ago, because of this it caused my car to run directly off the battery, I changed the alternator, but it didnt help. so in the whole mix of this my motor decided to kick the bucket. so i swap in a new engine harness, engine, tranny, dizzy, ecu and a new o2 sensor because it rubbed on the shift linkage and one of the wires came loose. I fixed everything i thought that was related to it. It is still throwing the same code and it will not go away. My speedometer still doesnt work at all either. Im tryin to sort this out any help on this would be great! thanks guys!!

inside the car where the wiring harness goes by the steering column bracket, these cars tend to chaff and short out. sounds like exact same problems

that doesnt fix my problem though and plus when i wetn to go do that on my old harness it didnt even look anything like the one that is pictured on the link you posted, i have replaced the fuse, put an entire different engine harness in it now and it is still throwing the code. i am trying to find out where the ELD (electrical Load Detector is located). I went to Honda and they said it is embedded in the engine bay fuse panel. i changed it with one that i know works properly and nothing changed.
thanks for the help though
