honda tech: i need your help reallly bad!!!!
my friend has a 93 civic with a ls swap in it he brought it over today and wanted to change his valve cover to one he painted... we took the old one off and i noticed that the valves were reallly loose so i adjusted them.. its not my first time doing a valve job i have done it plenty of times and i doubble checked my self.... alright so after that is all said and done we put the new valve cover on and go to start the car
it cranks you can smell the gas but its not getting spark, we changed cap rotor plugs wires, still nothing... i had a nother dizzy in my garage which i know was good tried that nothing.. . checked main relay took mine out of my car and tried it in his still nothing.... i took my ecu out of my car and put it in his nothing... does any one know what it could be its driving me crazy.. and yes the firing order is right too and the dizzy isnt 180 out its correct

if it ran before you did the valve adjustment, triple check your job.
sounds too odd to be a coincidence that something went bad at the same time.

Not to be a dick, but he answered the first 2 in his original post. He has no spark and smells gas when cranking it.
Otherwise, carry on.

Yep, definitely check that.

That's not a valve job, that's adjusting the valve lash. So what exactly did you adjust them to (spec-wise)?
