I heard you can put 04-05 headlights on an 02-03 Ep3? Whats modifications are involved cause i know its not a bolt up right?

 

I did it to my 03 Si. All you need to do is modify a few connectors and add plugs for the 9005 and 9006 bulbs. The turn signal and city lights need the connector modified to make it plug together. If you put the 04-05 bulb socket next to your 02-03 harness connector, you'll see what I mean. Then you have to turn your H4(9003) connector into separate 9005(high beam) and 9006(low beam). These connectors can be found at any auto parts store Just make sure you keep checking your wires for power with a test light to avoid mistakes. Make sure you use perma-seal connectors to connect everything unless you're soldering and using shrink wrap to seal your connections from the elements and corrosion. Also, buy a mini fuse set so that if you ground out a power wire and blow a fuse, you avoid a trip to the store

Otherwise, you may be able to find connector harnesses that turn 9003(H4) to separate 9005 and 9006 connectors.

Do they make 02-03 lights? All I can find are 02-05, and 04-05 lights. Am I not looking hard enough?

 

We're talking about OEM headlight assemblies. Are you thinking projectors?
