fog light problem
so today we wired up some ge fogs on my friends eg..and he wired them directly to were when he hits the switch for his headlights they automatically turn on...so we were cruising and the side(left) where he tapped his fogs to his headlights when out along with the fogs of course..but his high beams still work..so my question is...what could of caused this? i think its the fuse or maybe the headlight bulb or maybe too much on one headlight to handle? i know he shouldnt of tapped them to his headlights but wat can i say...
thanks.
thanks.

Re: fog light problem
Probably too demanding on the wiring. Just like how I can't have my voltmeter reading AND glowing off the same wire, it's one or the other even if both are hooked to same wire.

Could be both, could be neither. Check the fuses first, then the bulbs. But before anything, wire everything the right way it may just start working again.
