ok so i work for a shop here in CC tx and we got a 2000 accord sedan that came in with a f23 in it and he wanted the f20B in it so he bought the longblock online and brought it to us i pulled the f23 out and swapped the flywheel clutch etc.. over to the f20b and mated the tranny and got it ready to drop. but when i went to drop it in it seems the mounts do not line up the motor will not bolt in. no i thought this was because of the mount bracket (bolted to the f20b block) so i removed that and tried to bolt the bracket from the f23 there but it does not bolt up. what mounts do i need to use? i was under the impression this was a bolt in no problem swap but apparently not i also see i am going to have some wiring issues. sorry for the runon sentences and non capitiliztion and shitty punctuation im at the shop right now on a cell phone. kind of a pain in the ***. any help would be great guys
does the driver side bracket bolt up? i've heard the f20b motor mount bracket is supposed to solve the motor mount issue when doing the h22 swap on a 6th gen ...
the f20B and h22 use the same mounts. i thought the SOHC F series used the same mounts as well. ive only worked with civics but the h2b mounts are the same for all H and F's. something else is wrong here. it might be operator head space.
