b18a1 into 2000 si. Mount Brackets?
Hey,
So i have my b18a1 ona vtec head that im putting in my 2000 si.
Should i just use the mount brackets off my old b16 or any of the newer blocks or what in order to mount it? Is te only diffence the black mount bracket?
When i say mount bracket, i mean the black thing that connects from the block to engine mounts....

Do you mean the bracket that goes from the timing belt to the chassis? If so the EG/DC's have billet mounts there. They use a 3 bolt mount. The EK's have a 2 Bolt mount. If this is what your talking about then you need to remove the bracket off of your B16 and swap it out with the one on your LS. It'll bolt up fine then.
