i was wondering if anyone know how to reset the SRS light because my dumb *** forgot to disconect the battery befor i took of my steering wheel. so now the SRS light is on and it is buggin the f_ck out of me.

 

dunno how but i think the dealer charge like 40-60 bucks.my freind work at the honda service.he said somthing bout touching the possative to negative wires(batty wires) together or he said he can reset it from the stock radio(but this was for my accord)

all you have to do .. is pull ur cluster....
and theres a small plug on the back.. i think its blue or yellow
just pull that, and no more SRS light, thats what i did when
i installed my MOMO, or you can just pull the bulb out..
but the other method is the best.

 

my car is a 99 si and no i don't want to pull the plug out because i still got my stock steerign wheel on. i had to take off my jdm ctr airbag steering off to sell thats why the light came on.

 

dude... that's gonna explode anytime, stay away from it!!!!

seriously though, just find the 2 pin connector (yellow) under your dash that has the gray and gray wires in it. connect a jumper wire (paper clip is fine) to the plugs, turn key on, when the srs light goes off remove the clip, wait for the light to come on again, then reconnect the clip, when the light goes off again, remove the clip...you're done!

 

dont think you can reset the 99 si srs units, i dont think they have a rest untill 01. You probably have a loose wire somewhere. If it was a 01-up i could tell you how to reset the srs computer.

 

does that method werk for a 96 CX hatch?
