Default Gsr cluster in EG

I put a gsr cluster in my eg coupe and all the wiring is done but for some reason it doesnt light up my boy double checked all the wiring and it still doesnt light up

when i had my ex cluster it sometimes it lighted up and sometimes it didnt.

what might be the problem?

you know im sort of having this same problem.. sept i got my stock gauge cluster in my 92 si... the light comes on stays on and some times it shuts off.. when you get an answer on the light thing or know the answer to why the light is on some times and some times not.. let me know man cause its irritating and i cant figure out why the hell it does that. but hope you find your answer sorry im not much help.

checked all the fuses there all good under the dash and hood what can be the problem? harness?

Have you tried cleaning the plugs from the harness to the cluster? Sometimes the cluster may have dirt and grind in it.....I had that problem a long time ago and I tried that and didnt have any problems after.......*hoping this will work*

what do you mean clean the plugs? cause my ex cluster didnt light up either

It may be a fuse. Check all your fuses and the dimmer switch.

I did check the fuses and the dimmer is all the way up and it still not lighting up!

So you have bulbs, wired correctly, and fuses are good....and the gauge cluster is actually working just not lighting up correct?

wait I moved my dimmer up and just realized nothing changed I also realized my lights 4 my a/c dont light up either

check the the electrical modulator circuit box i think thats what its called. i Had the same problem in my 01 prelude no lights for my gauge or climate control worked here there was a radio wire for my cd player grounded out and melted this module box. after replacing it everything works.

Sounds like a faulty dimmer switch, since it was already having problems before the cluster swap.

I could just pop the dimmer switch out with screwdriver right? and then what do I check?

and where is the electrical modulator located?
