Default cluster not working?

okay so i just bought a jdm b16a swapped eg and vtec works and everything and the speedometer works all the other gauges work except the rpm 1 it like doesn't go past 4k.. it like goes back and fourth. could it just be a wiring issue? what should I go about doing? I know the motor and everything runs fine.

Have you even bothered to pull the cluster? Are you just looking at it scratching your head?

In danger of hijacking your thread, my light up bulbs in the cluster has stopped working.. Everything else works and lights up, but the two on top won't light up!

Have changed them, but still no light.. Any ideas?

forgot to add that when we switched out for a different rpm tach it went past 4k but after that it moves up like towards 6-7kish and like its not smooth it goes up and down.
