http://www.c-speedracing.com
has directions, specs, and images of the helms manual.
i did one today, its really not that hard with the right tools.

OT: i dropped and lost one of the washers off the valve cover, so ran over to the local honda parts dept.
and said "i need a washer for a valve cover for a b18 motor."
the guy looked at me blankly and said "whats that?"
me: "nevermind, can u find a washer for any valve cover?"
he couldnt find one.
in the end he sold me one out of a civic gasket kit for 3 bucks.

if i was in so. cali still. I'd do it for free, but I'd make you learn how to do it in the process. Plus you could buy me lunch hehe..... use that c-speed site. it is very good for first timers cuz it gots pictures. Plus you always got Honda-tech if anything comes up in your mind.

I did my valve adjustment in my garage... oh wait, I think you mean who you should take it to? j00r brain is who you should take it to, not that hard and very easy to do, but also easy to F up. Just take your time and read the instructions... c-speed worked for me.

Did my first valve adjustment last weekend myself and my car has been purring since, idle seems to have gotten better and car runs smoother.

I volunteer my services. I have the tools, even the lash adjuster from Honda. That lunch had better be super-sized though. Drop me a line.

I'll be your student too Thomas. So when you come back to cali let us know, I prefer someone teaching me instead of reading it
