Does anyone know if the B17 has the same deck height as a B16?, or is it the same as B18a/b/c?? I know the B18 ls and B18c share the same deck height as I built a B18c1 with an ls crank and rods a while back. Now I have a B17 shortblock, and a B18 ls sitting around in the garage and I was qurious if I could do the same thing.

 

Yes b17 has the same deck height as b16, b16 and b17 are 263 mm's, all other b's are 270mm.

 

Correct me if im wrong people.

 

The B17 is a redesigned B16 basically so I would assume it's the same.
