Default Plug Wire Choices

I figured I should pick up a decent set of plug wires since one is different and they seem old.

What would be the best to get? I'm using BOSCH Platinum +2 spark plugs

or

or

Go to auto parts store and get OEM style wires

all 3 options above are garbage. get ngk blues. best thing on the market (besides the nicer ngk's w/ blue boots, or spoon wires) and they're less than $50. those bosch plugs are crap too. you need cheap-o ngk plugs. probably an NGK BKR6E

When you say cheap-o NGK do you mean those standard ones or should I just step up to the iridium or Fine tip platinum?

yes, probably the best big *** aftermarket wire but they cost $100 and don't fit the looms. the ngk wires fit and cost 1/3rd as much, not to mention they work great !

msd wires suck, i've replaced them with ngk's before...

and yes, the cheap-o copper v-power plugs that are 2.50 each are amazingly good, way better than any plugs anyone but ngk has made (rocket might disagree with me on this one, but get some plugs from him if you really just want to buy something domestic

i've built a lot of setups, and one thing i can promise, is that the stock honda ignition, distributor, coil, rotor, & cap, with ngk wires & plugs (lots of different ones, but i use BKR5E's on stock compression all-motor setups (gs-r w/ boltons), BKR6E's on high compression all-motor setups, and BKR7E's on turbo setups. keep it simple. I've had not the first problem with this setup on anything from 205 whp gs-r's to 524 whp turbo B20vtec setups. never misses a lick. but damn, you'll have all kinds of problems when you start throwin in msd caps, coils, ignitions, anything but ngk wires (i've had horrible misfires with new msd's, all those huge diameter silicon aftermarket wires, brand new wires from parts stores...

basically, misfires are very common when using anything but honda/ngk stuff

I already purchased the NGK wires. Now for the NGK spark plugs, what should I get for a 91 Da GS. I have DC headers, air intake, and exhaust. What choices should I get:

V-power, G power, Iridium Xl, Laser Iridium, or Iridium platimun?

v-power's are all you need. theres no benefit to using anything else (at least in your particular situation- ls motor, 9:1 c/r) i'd use BKR5E's (if you find some BKR5E N-11or whatever its the same thing). so yeah, NGK BKR5E. I'd imagine that a ZFR5J or a ZFR5F is probably the same thing, too, but yeah...
