Went to the track for the first and well I suck.........
Weather conditions were great. I had some 14 in steelies up front with decent tires set to 18 psi. and a quarter tank of gas. This is with full interior, spare tire, some tools in my trunk. First time ever to the track.
My car is a 96 hb with a LS motor, home made intake, thermal 3in exhaust and a test pipe. Some complete H&R coilovers (strut spring combo). I think if I had a regular exhaust and had some back pressure I would have been able to go faster.
First Run
R/T 1.242
60' 2.490
330 6.678
1/8 10.179
MPH 71.02
1000 13.190
1/4 15.762
MPH 87.81
This run was against a primered EF. I was in Reverse backing up when the tree started to fall. I had no traction at all.
Second Run
R/T 1.200
60' 2.290
330 6.491
1/8 9.991
MPH 71.14
1000 12.999
1/4 15.568
MPH 87.92
This time was I think I had some water still on my tires because when I launched I just spun like a ****. I got it to hook finaly and than I bounced.
This was my first time ever to the track. I only got 2 runs because of how late I got there. I was hoping to get into the 14's. I think with some more practice I can get into the 14's. In the end I blame lack of experience + driver error. Oh well turbo goes on soon, so hopefuly I will be seeing some nice 12 second passes on street tires, with more practice of course.

That second run looked OK. The 60' time and mph indicate that you aint gonna get much better than that without more power or less weight....
yeh mph to low to run a 14
because i ran a 14.9 all motor at 89-90mph with I/E on the h23
but if u had a cat it would help your low end a lot

On your 1.2 Reaction times....
Go in the middle/end of the 3rd amber light.
You will see Lower Reaction times. You want to Shoot for a .500. Thats a Perfect lite
In Heads Up Racing, RT makes or breaks you.

For my first time, I did a best of 16.4 in my d16z6 powered EK with a terrible 2.4-2.5 60ft.. So you did better than I did! Keep practicing
you were at mir on friday night? damn, i talk to so many people but i miss the one person from woodbridge. I don't know if i even saw your car at all. If you didn't race at MIR then i'll sit here and feel dumb.
you won't get into the 14's with that mph. i only ran 15.2 at 89. so that should give you an idea of what its gonna take to get to 14's. so i would shoot for about 91 or 92 mph and a decent 60 ft(maybe 2.1 or 2.2) and 14's should be no problem.
Sorry to rain on your parade but your gonna have to lose 300 to 350 lbs to get you up to 92 ish mph which you'll need to get into the 14's without more power.
Tyres will help but you need more power.........
