im doing the same thing. i was told look for either old teg or si rears, then you can buy a new cable from honda for some $. im sure there are many other ways also. YET so far that i have been told, only si or integra rears will work without making your own bracket.

(there is a guy on here that makes super eazy conversion brackets and sells them, ill search for it again. but try yourself also...)

fastbrakes makes a drum-disc conversion for 88-00 civics and has a front big brake package if you are interested in that

or u can take the whole rear setup from an del sol or an 99-00 si but use new si brake lines and e-brake cables for both of those setups. If you use the teg ones u need teg rear brake lines and si e-brake cables.

Would i be able to use the rear setup off any year integra? Does it matter if its coming off a 2 or 4 door? Or are they all the same?

Yes, and we have all the time in the world to be on h-t marketplace to find your brakes...

Just go to your local junkyard, everything will be there.

Did the exact same thing on my brother's project hatch, and the same thing on my coupe. Just reused my stock LCA rather than the teggie ones.

If you are using a ABS set on a non-ABS car, the ABS just doesn't work. No biggie.

^ yeah man i know what you are talking about. Here in so cal i usually only see crap cars at the junkyard. the few times ive seen ek's they have just been molested..... Nothing that can be used is left. :-( Everytime I hear that people back east go and get parts of a SI or something it just makes me wonder if they are bs'ing or if they really are lucky.

Junkyards around here are gold mines. Here are some things I've found:

Carbing cooling plate (ek) = $FREE!!
CTR 5 lug with CW wheels = $300
Si cluster = $30
ITR 22mm rear sway bar = $20
Several full GSR F/R brake setups = $50-75 each.
E-brake cables = $7 each
CTR shift boot = free
100% MINT Del Sol seats = $40 for both (found several times)
99+ spec Miata rear LSD = Did not buy (I told someone else to get it...IIRC, they walked out with it for $200ish?) The car also had the 1.8L still in it and intact...with trans.
26mm Si front bar and LCA setup = $50 with endlinks. Found twice.
Skunk2 coilovers = did not buy
Tokico blue shocks all 4 = did not buy but found 2 or 3 times.
S14 5 lug complete conversion = $200 even though THEY pulled it off the car for me.
Red EM1 side power mirror = $25 (did not buy, though)
300ZX brake conversion (rear) with cross drilled rotors = did not buy
Racing Hart wheels for MSP = Did not buy (would have been ~$100)
ITR sedan rear seat = $20
Champ white painted EM1 with ALL body work 100% intact (theft recovery that just got set down as I got there. Me and my friend stripped that car within like 1 hr lol. That's where I got the CTR 5 lug and other misc awesomeness)
I also saw a Prelude VTEC with the H22 still in there. Looked intact.
We see D series VTEC engines all the time. The complete heads are $80 each.
My friend took the valve cover off a GVR4 that we found...

I could go on like this for days. My wheel bearing just went out on my EM1. I found an EX spindle with a BRAND FREAKING NEW wheel bearing allready installed. This was 3 or 4 days ago $23
