Default 25 lbs boost from a 5 lb. spring possible?

I'm using a 12 lb. spring and a Blitz SBC boost controller. The spring is about the lightest I can use with the setup I have, and still get 25 lbs. on the high boost setting. 12 - 13 lbs is way more than I can use in gears 1-3. I would like to be able to dial it back to 5 or so for 1st and gradually increase it as I go through the gears. I've heard that CO2 setups can be utilized to make this work but it doesn't sound practical for a daily driver - with the bottle running out as you drive around. Sounds like a drag strip only application.
Anything else that would work?

92 hatch, H22, Full Race exh., GT35, Tial 60 wastegate, Blitz SBC id electronic boost controller, BFG Drag radials, 3" exh. for full length, no cat.

probably not....my 4psi spring drops off and is unstable over 15psi. that is with a 38mm tial gate.

My 4psi spring maxed out at about 17psi. it would flutter between 15-17. using a tial 38mm with greddy profec b spec 2. not to mention my transient respone is better now with a 12psi spring.

It's feasible with CO2, but not with a conventional style setup.

you have a 60mm gate good lawd overkill, but anyway you should be fine with a 7psi spring if you can find one

Sounds like you'll either have to cut your exhaust backpressure or live with it as it is.

With such a big 60mm gate, it will never do it without CO2

What is the cost of a CO2 setup? Any kits or do I need to make it up myself?
