99-00 EK9 Green ECU PLUG QUESTION
Good morning everyone,
Just have a question regarding the green plug for the ek9 ecu.. My friend and I swapped in the B16B type R motor into a 00 EK hatch (motor only); we've installed a 2000 civic SI engine harness onto it (everything plugs in perfectly); I was told that the green plug for the ecu (pins in the plug) would need to be switched around in order to work ~ something about the cluster, fuel pump etc. Not sure; I was told the the current wires do not correspond with the JDM ECU. Is this true? Others are telling me that it's a straight plug and play..Please help answer this for me...I'm confused.. Can someone verify this for me please. Also, I'm using the Type R ecu that came with the engine. Thanks in advance!
