Here is the short version. B16a swap into my ej6, Got spark, got fuel but the motor just cranks and cranks. Had to use a jumper to get the fuel pump started. Not sure the issue there, has power in both fuses just seems to have an Open somewhere connecting to the fuel pump harness. Going to check compression tomorrow since the battery finally died.

Tell me how dumb I am and give me an easy fix. Thanks!

Fuel, air, spark.

If you have fuel at the rail, all the plugs are firing, and your are on planet earth where air is somewhat abundant(spelling is not though), id check compression like you said, and timing. Even if the timing is off it should attempt to start but not idle in most situations. Thats about all the help i can give you right this second.

 

Yeah, check compression and whether the timing belt slipped.

 

also check firing order on spark plugs

 

also if u ran a jumper to fuel pump to get it to work and there is a ground then your injectors could not be working, i think they are on the same circut as the pump is, or at least they are in mine.
