H Brace Install Problem
I was about to install a H brace on my car and ran into a problem. There are 4 bolts, 2 front, and 2 back. The 2 in the front is what connects the front LCA if I am correct. My problem is the bolt that goes through the front LCA looks like it has a nut welded inside the subframe (not sure if its the subframe). but when I unscrew that bolt the nut starts to spin with it and if I do take something and poke it inside the tiny hole and hold the nut while i take the bolt out it might fall in there and i'll be screwed. Does anyone have this problem? And how would I install my H brace now?
Seems like a lot of trouble to go through for an H-brace my man....I purchased one and ran into the same situation, pitched it to the curb...
Are you looking to reduce body roll & stiffen up the chassis I imagine? Benen makes a front lower tie bar... All in all if your car is lowered you may want to skip the whole concept (really makes for $hitty ground clearance.)
Best of luck to you man!
