Car died, wont crank, has battery power.
Hello, I have been searching and so forth.. so onto the problem at hand.
Car had been running great, randomly shut off.
Starter?
Clutch switch, where is that at? And if so, does that throw a Check engine & oil light?
Oil light & CEL = Oil Pump or Knock Sensor?
Check engine light is on
Oil lamp light is on
Battery light is on
Car won't crank
I have tried a different ecu
Timing belt looks fine
Sounds like the fuel pump works when i try to start it
Has oil
Checked fuses

the problem is deff. electrical related at this point. some connection is bad somewhere. your ignition switch could be gone. the tumbler in the column that is. my brother had one fail in his EG a month or so ago. barely got it to crank, had to hold the key in awkward positions.
you could try this: with it in NEUTRAL, put the key in position 2. get a 3 foot piece of wire and very carefully, attach one end to the positive terminal of the battery. then disconnect the small wire from the starter solenoid. take the piece of wire in your hand and touch it to the solenoid plug and this will make the engine crank. this method will bypass the clutch safety switch and the car will only start if the key is in position 2 (to turn on the ECU) this will not shock or zap you in any way. there are no moving parts on this side of the engine so you will be fine. do not touch anything else with the wire except the starter terminal. if you contact anything else that's metal you will short out the system, blow your main fuse and possibly melt the wire from the amperage. just make sure it's in NEUTRAL and be precise with the wire.
if the car starts you have either a bad clutch safety switch or a bad ignition tumbler. good luck. be careful.
