Rear speaker brackets... for a 4 door?
The car is a 92 LX. The car was stolen, along with the speakers, etc a few months ago. I'm finally getting the time/money to start putting things back together.
I had aftermarket 6 1/2" speakers installed in the back. The covers are still there, but when I remove them I just see a sheetmetal hole. This bolt pattern doensn't match up to my speakers.
Is there a bracket I need that was stolen? Or what do I do?
The last time I looked at this was ~2 months ago, so if I'm mistaken and the speakers screw directly to that I'm sorry. I figured there is some plastic bracket that goes there.
Thanks,
Colin

There should be a plastic trim that is under the speaker grille. It's probably best to find it at your local junkyard or you could get lucky on eBAY. If you do manage to find the brackets, you need to get hardware for it as well.
Thank you very much for the quick response. F'n thieves... oh well.
The speakers just bolt the sheetmetal. There is no plastic bracket. If the speakers don't match up. either redrill them so they do. or get some speakers that fit (pioneer makes some nice 6 1/2" round speakers that are a shallow basket design that fit quite nicely)
