Default wheel fitment help.

ive searched and theres more about wheel weight than wheel fitment. i have a 92 civic cx with type r 5x114 hubs and type r brakes. im ordering my wheels this week but i cant find a wheel fitment guide for a 15x8 inch wheel. or even a 16x8 to fit my coming nsx brakes. apparently the stock offset is 40-45. but i need to fit a 8 inch wheel. i realize i have to roll my fenders which is no problem. can anyone help me please. ive always run stock wheels. but my 15x6 type r wheels rub the frame when i steer. do i need like a 35 offset to run 8 inch wide wheels for 15 or 16 inch wheels
